Welcome friends to Light and Life!

I look forward to this from the minute the previous workshop wraps up.  I love teaching, I love working with other photographers, I love getting to know new people in my field, I love learning from young growing together.

I have a fantastic workshop shaping up this year.  Still focusing on the same things as years past, but adding some great new information and wonderful sponsors and vendors.

At Light and Life we focus heavily on working with natural light in all it’s forms.  I want my attendees to feel confident walking into just about any type of light, knowing it’s strengths and weaknesses and being able to work it in the best way possible.  We also focus a lot on how to interact with your clients to make them feel comfortable and be able to truly be themselves and let the connections and emotions between families really shine in your images.  We will also work on composition and creating interest with your work, how to get skin looking it’s best, post processing and lots more.

This will be a full day workshop on May 7th, hosted at my brand new studio in Bountiful Utah, White Space Studios (@whitespacestudios on Instagram).  We will be doing two beautiful shoots, one in studio and one outdoors to make sure we are able to work with different types of light.  We will have lunch or dinner depending on the time and have plenty of time for Q&A and getting to know each other.

There will be a max of 15 attendees to ensure it isn’t over crowded.  Total cost for the workshop is $425.  A $100 deposit is due at booking to reserve your seat.  Your deposit can be made here  https://squareup.com/market/tracy-layne-portraits/light-and-life-deposit

This deposit is non-refundable and I’m telling you, you don’t want to miss out on this anyway.

Oh and did I mention that every attendee will be receiving a FREE ALL ACCESS hour at White Space Studios to start dipping your toes into the glorious world of studio work, special discounts/offers from our fabulous vendors and a little something something from me?

My hope is to have you leave this workshop feeling inspired and confident that you can get out there and make beautiful art in just about any situation.   You’ve got so much goodness, creativity and beauty inside you and I just want to help you bring it out.

Hope to see you soon!
