Hello again friends, it’s so good to be back!
Thanks for your patience as my site was down for so long. I’ve been working so hard on this and I am SO excited to share this new phase with you all and to launch a FABULOUS contest!
As my business and style have grown, I have felt strongly that changes needed to be made. Obviously, the website is brand new and my name has changed slightly from Tracy Layne Photography, to Tracy Layne Portraits. These two names will be merged for a little while as I slowly transition to the portraits title, so you will still find me at the same web address for now. This decision comes along with the new brand I want to create for myself specializing in family and children’s portraiture. This does not mean I will never venture outside this box, but this is what I truly love to photograph and where my passion lies and I feel that comes across in the photos I take. I always want to enjoy the project I am working on so I can put my full heart into it and that’s what I plan to do.
Along with this new vision comes a couple of new “package deals”.
First being, “The first year” package.
I have had the opportunity to watch so many of your little ones grow up through their first year of life and I have felt that to be such an honor to be a part of, and so I present The first year package. This is for those clients who want to capture on film, that incredible first year of your child’s life, where so much growth and change takes place. For those that don’t want to miss a thing.
Package A includes 3 full shoots over the course of the first year (i.e. newborns, 6 months and 1 year). You may choose whatever ages you wish. This package is $375 and includes everything you would get in a regular session at each time. This saves you $75!
Package B includes 5 full shoots over the course of the first year. 1 shoot every 3 months to capture each and every adorable little phase of your little one. This package is $600 and also includes everything you would get in a regular session each time. This saves you $150!
The next new package is “The stylized portrait” package
This package is for the client who wants a very special and unique session for their little one or teen. Many people ask “what to wear” questions about their upcoming shoot and this is a cause of stress for them in picking the right attire. While I am always happy to answer questions and give advice, this package is for someone who wants a little more TLC. This package is all about STYLE! It will include 1-3 consults with me to create a unique, personalized shoot. I will shop with you, shop for you, shop in your own closets, whatever you need for us to find the right combination of props and attire to create your own signature look and create something truly special for your child. This package starts at $250 plus the cost of any clothing you would like me to purchase.

I present the BIG CONTEST!
In celebration of all things new around here, I am going to be running a “style my kid” contest. The winners (yes, there will be TWO winners) will each receive “The Stylized portrait” package, AND I will provide the props and outfits free of charge. I will purchase the attire from some of my favorite places such as CREWCUTS, Gap and some of my favorite Etsy dealers. This is BIG people.
There will be one boy and one girl winner. Contestants must be between ages 1-12. Prize must be claimed within the 2011 year. Shoots will take place in the Salt Lake City or St. George, Utah areas.

Email me (tracylayneportraits@gmail.com) a photo of your child, niece, nephew, cousin, friend, whoever you want to win, by August 15th. Then head to my new Facebook page and “like” it if you have not already. When I have received all the contestants, I will post an album with all of the entries.
Next… spread the news like wildfire! Tell your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, whoever, to go and vote for your kid. Vote by going to my Facebook Page, “like it”, then find your child’s photo and “like” it as well. Each “like” is a vote for you child. The girl and boy with the most votes, wins. Easy as that.
